Impeccably clean property with expert staff at the reception desk. Continental breakfast, decent size and functional room with shower and wash basin. The breakfasts for value. The hotel of choice in Canberra.

I reduced the dislikes from 700 words to 300 I have no likes
F1HotelCanberra is basic Navigator, no street number, we got lost, and telephoned. Bp Garage was not enough, we drove all about the rear of garage, until we found “second left”, further along. Advised 16 steps upstairs, then, he gave us “disabled” room We saw coffee/tea making was public, but limited 4pm- 9pm. So, no supper coffee, morning tea. We shuffled past internet to our room, and glad not in wheelchair. During night, my wife woke me, could not climb out through her wall to toilet. Luggage sat on floor, no other place. Kneel to unpack. Hang up our best clothes, no, there was not one place to hang them. We slowly got the room warmer. Sheets cold. No elecblanket Each time I switched AirConditioning on, it turned off to ambient, took two hours to get it 22deg. I went out, taking key. My wife very upset. As the hall door closed, the sealed window popped open, and the room was cold again. The nightattendant said he could not do anything until nextday. I asked where to park, but his answer was meaningless. It was a dark night, I had just driven 600 Km, and could not see much. Lucky I parked in the right place. We reported window again. He should refund our money, but at least he said he would report it. Allright for the nextuser?? But what about us? It surely was reported before. Using towels again? Hang them on the rail, but no rail. Shower water everywhere, no curtain. No bedlamps either, nor wardrobe. Most motels have electricjug, tea/coffee makings, also fridge. This place had nothing. Finally, I will never never never nevernevernever stay in a Formule1Hotel, anywhere in the World again. Rather sleep in my coat on a park bench, than pay all that money for nothing.

Close to Federal Highway entry point. Close to Watson Art Centre Clean, comfortable room. Simple but good budget breakfast Helpful reception attendant
The aircon didn't work in my room, the 2nd night I was there was a bit warm. By the time I needed it, there was no-one at reception. Would have liked a cloth bath mat to use in the washroom after showering.

Very clean
Showers had no door/curtain so made the floor of the toilet wet. Really missed tea making facilities One of my children hit her head on the metal bunk edge
